The new Teams experience

Microsoft Teams is the hub for teamwork in Microsoft 365, where you can chat, meet, call, and collaborate with your colleagues and partners. And now, Teams is getting even better with a new update that brings you a faster, simpler, and more flexible experience.

Here are some of the highlights of the new Microsoft Teams experience.

Improvements to speed

One of the most noticeable changes in the new Microsoft Teams experience is the improved speed and performance. Teams now launches up to 30% faster, and switching between tabs and windows is smoother and more responsive. You can also enjoy faster file uploads and downloads, and better video and audio quality in meetings and calls. Whether you are working from home, in the office, or on the go, you can rely on Teams to keep you connected and productive.

New simpler user interface

Another major improvement in the Microsoft Teams experience is the new simpler user interface. Teams now has a cleaner and more intuitive design, with fewer distractions and more focus on your content and conversations. You can easily access the most important features and settings from the new command bar at the top of the app, and customise your navigation pane on the left with the apps and tools you use most often. You can also enjoy a more consistent and seamless experience across different devices and platforms, as Teams now has a unified look and feel on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and web.

Multi-account flexibility

One of the most requested features in Teams is the ability to switch between multiple accounts and organisations. And now, with the new Microsoft Teams experience, you can do just that.

You can now add and manage multiple accounts in Teams, and easily switch between them without signing out and signing in again. This is especially useful if you work with multiple teams or clients, or if you have a personal and a work account in Teams. You can also see your status and notifications for each account and choose which one you want to be active at any given time.

With the new multi-account flexibility, you can stay connected and organised across all your Teams accounts and organisations.

Something we love using in the new Teams experience

Another feature that makes Teams stand out from other collaboration platforms is the webinar experience, and we are loving it.

With Teams, you can easily create and host engaging webinars for up to 1,000 attendees, with live reactions, Q&A, polls, and more. You can also record and share your webinars on demand and get insights into attendance and engagement.

Teams webinars are ideal for marketing events, product launches, training sessions, or any scenario where you need to communicate with a large audience online. And the best part is, you can use the same Teams app that you use for your daily meetings and chats, so you don't have to switch between different tools or subscriptions. With Teams webinars, you can deliver impactful presentations and reach more people with ease.
